I have a laptop with Microsoft Streets & Trips 2006 W/ GPS.
I also have a DeLorme LT-20 Street Atlas USA 2006 antenna. Does anwone know if the 2 will work?
I broke my Microsoft antenna.
Thanks for any help.

I don't know if S&T will work directly with the Earthmate, but an alternative, would be employing DeLorme's Serial emulator, and making S&T look at one of the 2 serial ports it emulates NMEA format on..

Let's see.. link... link..

discussion already talking about the emulator here....

Ah! link for the emulator (Windows)

S&T 2008 doesn't see the device as a USB port, so it needs to be via one of the emulated serial ports from the program..

I seem to remember, seeing a Pharos "Puck" antenna, that looked identical to Microsoft's, but may have different firmware. m ight be another thing to look into....

(their Bluetooth receiver antenna looks near identical to the Microsoft "Puck"..)

Hope this is of some help.
