Okay, here's an interesting question...
Yes, I AM aware of the implications of what I'm asking, but what I am asking, is not to infringe on copyrighted data..
I obtained from one of the Free Garmin Map sites, a map file of several trails, mainly gpx converted to a layer file for use with programs like Mapsource.
What I want to do, is be able to view the trails in a track layer on another mapping program. So, how do I go about extracting this data, for importing to the other?
The reason I'm asking, is the file is supposed to be transparent with programs like City Navigator, But apparently it is not able to be overlayed on anything with Mapsource. Also once I zoom out to beyond 2 miles view, the trails disappear.
On a blank background, they exist.. On a map, they won't co-exist. HELP!
