Have not even been on the water with it yet and have a couple of ?'s. The manual is pretty vague to me on marking a wpt. Can you just hold down enter like my Garmin GPSMAP 76CX and it will mark your present location as a wpt and bring up the wpt page so you can name it? Also I know you can't just download new wpts from your unit to your save microSD card so what is the best way to save all the new wpts? I guess the best way is to have 2 save cards and download to the blank one when you have new wpts and format, I think that means erase, the old card for next time. Can the Elite 5 erase the SD card, the only way I have done it is in my camera or when up loading pixs to my mac mini. Not very good with this tech stuff.
