"nRoute" is an old, no longer supported Garmin program for tracking your movements on a mobile PC interfaced to a Garmin GPS. I had despaired of finding it until a search of this forum led me to http://www.gpsinformation.org/penrod/nroute/nroute.html. I downloaded it and have it running on my Windows 7 laptop.

However, when started, it only shows my USTopo East and oter Garmin topo maps. I want to use it with City Navigator 2009, which is also installed on my computer. Does anyone know how to do that?

I found the problem. I just needed to install the latest version of nRoute from the web site referenced in my first post.

Nice to find a place to get it if needed. I have the 2.7.6 installer on my PC and nRoute installed on my laptop, but found myself out of town on a friend's laptop wishing I had it. . .

Just downloaded latest version of nRoute 276 from http://www.gawisp.com/perry/nroute/. I have a legal version of Mapsource loaded and yet nRoute keeps refusing to open apparently due to "the absence of a Mapsource product".
I have tried this on both my Windows 7 with 6.16.2 and my XP with 6.15.11 loaded. Also tried with Mapsource open and closed. Also tried zumo connected or not connected.
Any ideas? Was there a version of Mapsource that left nRoute behind? Do I need anything else loaded? I see mention of trip & waypoint manager here and there but have never bought that.
