It may be interesting for Smartphoners/Iphoners/Androidians ;) !
Hi! I've found a Press Release from Ndrive like few days ago in one of Polish websites. I asked editor for English version of document.
And he had it :D

There is a part of it:

“NDrive faces a tremendous challenge in three (3) completely different dimensions. One: To move from a company focused on being a Hardware / Software vendor to a company 100% focused in Software Development. Two: To globalize and consolidate its business and operations worldwide. Three: To become a reference in multiplatform navigation software (iPhone, Android, Symbian and Windows Mobile), while keeping the focus on innovation and differentiation”, says Mr. Luis Baptista-Coelho, according to whom: “Innovation has been part of the company’s DNA from day one and it’s a team sport. In NDrive we have among the best brains in the industry today. We need a collective effort in order to make sure that our technology reaches the market with impact, visibility and value to our customers and partners"

What do You think about it? I have Iphone and I know that nav software is not very good. Even from TomTom or Navigon. You think that they can do better?

I guess it's posible they will come out with something good. I know that the software for pnd's is pretty good... fast, good graphs and good maps. and I think they also have something for symbian already out that I've read it's not bad either.

but who can tell for sure... wait and see! :D

Yes, they have soft for Symbian, and WM right now. It cost about 40 euro as I remember (about 50-$60). They have this fancy maps but as I saw the most important is soft reliability and speed. It's really nice. Im pretty sure that they use maps from both Tele Atlas and Navteq (and maybe also from some other providers).

To be honest theres a lot of room still in the Iphone Navigation app market. But I am hesitant about this. This NDrive is like really new... but then so is the market itself. The first gps app for IPhone came online in what, May of this year?

I usually base my choices on recommendations from other users and credible product review sites. I havent seen any kind of review of NDrive software aside from the comparison I posted in another thread earlier. Until I see a more reviews of their software I can't be sure of the quality.
But that other review does hint at something good. If there is a review somewhere else out there that finds similar conclusions that would be interesting!

and the excerpt you posted does say they will be coming to other mobile platforms... I wonder when thatll happen and at what price.

I don't have any prepared document but I was using Ndrive on my PND. To be honest at the beginning it was not the best, but from version to version You could have seen a lot of improvements. Software is nice and very intuitive so I think that mobiles is a good direction for this company. Here You have video test (Nokia) : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fIiOKYOkRuw
Maybe it will let You understand better how it looks alike - I think that soft is nice.
