Hi everyone, I have just purchased a Maestro 4250 and wanted to simulate a route that starts at a location far away from my current physical location. I set my GPS options to be at a starting location (away from my current location). I also changed my Home Location to match the starting point as well. I went to turn on the "Simulation Mode", then entered my destination and tapped 'Yes" when asked to simulate route. The GPS should simulate a route from the starting point as entered in the GPS option. But it instead always gives me a route from my current physical location. I have been on the phone with Tech Support so many times, they had no clues why my unit is behaving that way.

Can anyone who owns a Maestro series 4000, 4100, 4200 please try this and let me know if your GPS can simulate a route far away from where you currently are ? I am running the latest firmware verions 4.6 and map 2007 (version 29).

Thanks in advance.
