I was wondering if there is any way of downloading a new mapping programe to my GPS. The mapping that comes with the GPS is really veage! Want a mapping softwere that showes bettering mapping. Was told that I should be able to download to a PC and than download to the GPS!

Generally each GPS manufacturer has it's own proprietary map format and cannot upload maps from other sources. So you should check out maps from Lowrance if you want to upload them to your GPS.
