To be honest, we are manufacturer of GPS. I want to make a investigation what GPS feature do you really want? Basic one, just inform you where you are and lead you to the place that you want to go............or multi-function one, come with MP3, MP4, Camera, bluetooth, alert...........

Could you kindly share your idea with us? Thanks!!!!!!!!!!

Since when was anything like a MP3, MP4, Camera, or the like a "GPS feature"? These things are creature features not GPS or navigation features!

Okay, since you asked, here is what I want. This applies to auto units only. What I would like is a routing engine that works. That means: One that actually finds the best route, one that knows the difference between rush hour and not rush hour, one that doesn't try to route me into the teeth of the worst traffic in the city, one that knows what speed people actually drive at an any given road and what the expected delay cause by traffic lights is (and knows this as a function of time of day and day of the week) so that it can actually find the fastest way to get somewhere and finally one that has an accurate and up to date POI list so that when you get to where you are going, it is actually there.

Do I need MP whatever, no. Do I need bluetooth, no. In other words, I need a navigator that actually does an efficient job of navigating.

I agree about not needing bluetooth, MP 3 stuff, cameras, etc. Just a unit that does what it should. Talks, gives acurate information, and one that you can enter your own POI. Doesn't need to be fancy.

The crossover units are nice, but not durable. So a unit that could be multi functional, that is durable, and large enough to use in a car, but not huge to carry out on a trail.
