I have a garmin etrex vista C. Due to low built in memory size and in order to avoid buing a new Cx or HCx I would like to know if there is a way to conect an external sd card device to my etrex vista C port or on to the main device in order to read the external sd card with maps.
If so any sugestions on how to do it?

I never thought that you are not hearing.
But as there are various forums with specific subjects with different experts I posted to Garmin experts and to D.I.Y experts.
We have a saying in greece "by asking you reach to the town" .

Well, I see your point but this site seems to run, somewhat differently. The posted mods are really admins. The rest of us just pipe up if we think, we can help. Kind of a "self modding" site. Seems to work and most people get help.
