We'd like a gps that can go in the truck and track our route and upload it into a computer so that we have a record of what properties we've been to and how long we've been there. I think that's about it unless there's a model that can cut the grass as well 8)

Most if not all of the current models will do what you want. In the simplest terms a tracklog is a record of where you've been complete with time stamps. The most basic software will plot a tracklog on a blank sheet or you can have it displayed in Google Earth.

You can add other mapping software, auto routing (to tell you how to get there) and many other options but no lawn mowing (that I know of)

only trimble sells lawn moving GPSes. mainly for agriculture but you never know...try the 60CSX or 76 CSX for handhelds or the zumos for car use.

a company in houston makes a unit that records every move the guys make then upload the data when they return. they have a software that allows you to run reports to detail everything your guys have done. Look for the shadow tracker units. Good luck
