I'm looking at setting up a Trimble RTK system for ag use and need to know what to look for when assessing compatability. I've found some used Trimmark 3 radio modems that I believe can be used as base/repeater/radio and they are 450-470mhz which is the correct frequency. I would envisage usin this as a base with a Zephyr antenna. Our existing mobile recievers are Trimble 252 and Z1 (L1/L2) that we can fit with Ag gps 450 and PDL 450 radios.
What I don't know is how to assess whether this would all function together. Issues such as channel spacing and baud rate(which looks OK to me) would be things I don't know about. Plus others I expect !
If anyone has any ideas on how go about this , it would be very much appreciated. Thanks.
