I own a magellan roadmate 1430 that has an sd card. Does that sd card have my saved destinations on it? Because my magellan gps won't work anymore and I'm thinking of getting a Garmin nuvi 1450LMT and I want to know if I can put the sd card in the new gps so my destinations can be transferred. Is this possible?

I'm not sure that the two POI's and favorites are stored on the GPS.

Normally you have to 'export to SD card' in the main menu of the device in question. I would venture a guess and say that your POI's are stored on the SD, but I wouldn't 'count' on them being there.

even if the destinations are stored on the SD card, there's no guarantee that a Garmin GPS would be able to make sense out of it. the GPS makers are not big on interoperability.
