Ive owned an Explorest xl less than 48 hours. I have owned map send topo for two years. I cannot get map sen topo to connect to it to download maps.
another thing with my sd card in the unit the computer and the unit will not talk as soon as I take the sd card out they find each OTHER IN ABOUT 10 SECONDS.

Any one give me a clue Magellan ask magie was not helpfull.

I'm not near a windows box at the moment, but my memory is that you had to save the map set to the hard drive and then move it to the XL manually. Why is another issue entirely.

I just figured it out.My last gps was a sport track and I expected it to be like that one It certainly is not I had to actually read the instructions.
