Has any one (phsically) compared these two side by side? Aused both on the road?

I like that the 6000t has hard buttons. The other plus with the 6000T - it beats the 2200T with 6M POI's vs 2M with the 2200T.

Per the comparo on Magellan's site they seem very similar.

I am cursious since the 2200T is so much newer, if it functions any better.

Thx in advance

You might also check out the 3000T. It has the 6M POI and the hard buttons. It does not have "say where", in case that is important to you. I'm very satisfied with it. For me, the large POI database is pretty important. Second to basic navigation by address, POI are the most useful things for me. I think that they all have the same advanced chip (siRF III). That was the main reason I choose it...I can even get reception inside my house. Price was very reasonable, I paid ~400 for it online.

Whichever one you get, make sure to update the "firmwave" via the Magellan website. I've heard that it can be buggy if you don't.

I have not compared to two. But purchased my 2200t base upon the following review which accurately describes its performance in great detail will actual picture illustrations. That review is at: http://www.gpsmagazine.com/2006/12/mage ... php?page=1
