How can I turn off some dashboards, not just change them, to preserve screen real estate?

I'm an Oregon owner but I think it works the same for the eTrex30. The "select number size" button will reduce the number of data fields shown on a dashboard. See the link below (I know it's for Oregon's but I believe it's the same for your eTrex)

Thanks for the tip. I found the dashboard setting on the eTrex setup page. Now I can see much more of the map.
