Any suggestions on repairing or replacing this screen? Small upper section where speed is displayed has become opaque.
Any response on how/ if one can open the unit? replace it with Saran wrap??lol The cost of replacing all the connecting cables for a new unit is too much for us. Only need the unit to work another year or so then our boating days are over.

I used Meguiars #17 Clear Plastic Cleaner, to clear up several things like a stop watch, and weather instrument face, that had become too cloudy to see through. It worked a tad bit on the glass
screen on a Garmin 60C, for the small scratches. The # 10 and 18, were not available to me to test. I've read where some have used
metal polish, and toothpaste, for screen scratches, etc, on GPS receivers.
