i would like to go offshore a mile or so in the gulf and be able to get back to the exact spot i left from. but with wind pushing one way and the current the other it is almost imposssible to do so. what kind of gps would work for me? will the (inexpensive) garmin eTrex H work? i can tell east from west, can find land, and do not need anything as far as maps or roads. but i do need to get back to my suv or campsite within a few yards (or meters.) let me know if you have any experience with this.
thanks,
olan
