I drive a commercial truck. I'm not allowed on parkways. Is there a unit the allows me to bypass these roads??

almost all of em. garmins have the option of vehicle type in the setup menu. -- chose truck.

OK your answer helped a lot. I bought a Garmin Street Pilot C550. Worked perfect for my needs.

Well someone stole it the other night. Now I'm looking to replace it. I went to Best Buy to see what's "NEW and IMPROVED". The salesman told me the units no longer differentiate between cars and commercial vehicles. Is this true?
