I received this message when I checked in. Is this really an attack site?

"This web site at www.gpsinformation.net has been reported as an attack site and has been blocked based on your security preferences.

Attack sites try to install programs that steal private information, use your computer to attack others, or damage your system.

Some attack sites intentionally distribute harmful software, but many are compromised without the knowledge or permission of their owners."

I got a variation of that notice using the Google Chrome browser. I don't know much about Web security, but this, I believe, is true: "....many are compromised without the knowledge or permission of their owners."

We are aware of the problem and working with our isp to correct it. There has been a security breach on the server where the site is hosted and at this time we can not even log on to correct the issue. One line of code has been inserted into index file in an attempt to redirect traffic to another site. It does not seem to be working, but its presence is enough to warrant the warning. The gpsinformation.net site does not contain any malicious code, but the redirect (if it works) could.
