Hello all,

I am a graduate student (pursuing Masters in Aerospace Engineering). So far, I have taken two courses on GPS. The first course is all about the post-processing with the pseudoranges, correcting the pseudoranges and obtaining the navigation solution. The second course is about GPS Signal Processing and basics of receivers (I am a novice in the field of software defined receivers). I have also taken courses on Estimation and Orbital Mechanics. For the last 5 months, I have been working on calibration of hardware biases in receivers.

I wish to pursue a career (not a research career since I don't intend to pursue PhD) in any GPS related technology. I will graduate in about a year from now and so I am planning to start looking for jobs/internships etc.

Please give me some suggestions on the career options I have (which companies can I apply for jobs). Also please tell me if I need to have any other subject knowledge or other skills. What are the prospects for a career in any PNT based technology.

Thanks for your time and effort in reading this post. I would greatly appreciate any help from you.

Thank You

You could start with Garmin. They post their jobs on their site.
