Hello,

Have an old Magellan Nav5000DLX GPS unit. Need to find a power cord for it. I understand that the unit requires 9 VDC at 220MA. The specs say that the power cord can be used at any voltage from 9 to 35 VDC. Therefore I believe that the cord has a DC/DC network in it to provide 9 VDC regardless of the input voltage.
Can anybory verify this?

Also need to know what type of female 5 pin plug they used. Some tell me it's a LEMO but it looks more like a slip fit. Possibly a Mini DIN.

With that information I can build a cable.

Thanks
