Hi All:)
I have a Garmin Street Pilot 2620 GPS and the touch screen has gone out of calibration.
I have gone to the calibration screen and continually touch the red dots to recalibrate, but I get a fail notification.
I went to the Garmin support page, and they suggest that I use a pen, which I have and still get the fail message.
When I touch the screen the Tabs will either disappear or reappear which are located on the right side of the unit.
I can not anything to work using the touch screen.
If I want to impute an address etc. I have to use the remote which comes with the unit which make it cumberson when wanting to enter an address etc.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
I have also gone back to the default mode which did not solve the problem

Did you try a master reset?
You will loose any custom stuff/settings you may have put on it.

Tks. for the reply.
Yes I did try the master reset and still same result Calibration failed.
I have called Garmin support twice and they report be precise when touching the dots.
I have tried for hours still not able to calibrate the touch screen.

Tks. again for your reply.

I can not find the Master reset, I did find a reset button for all the individual tabs, but no Master reset.

Not sure on your unit but on the Nuvi 660 you press and hold the bottom right corner while Pressing Power button. Continue to hold until the Master Reset menu comes up. On other units it is the top right hand corner of the screen that you press and hold while turning on power.
