I just purchased a Tom Tom 720 GO, I put music on a SD Card I just bought, inserted it into the GPS but it does not seem to reconize the card. Is there something I should be doing?

It's an MP3 player. Are you sure that the files are in MP3 format and not some other format like WMA or iTunes?

I'm just guessing here, but it is possible that you have to format the card in the Tom Tom or perhaps the songs have to be in some particular directory, not the root.

Help! I just bought a Garmin Nuvi 680 and tried a 16Meg MMC card I had laying around the house. It is shaped like an SD and docks inside the unit. A drive letter even shows up in MY Computer. But if I click on the drive letter I get the error message: "Please insert a disk into drive H:."

Anybody know if the MMC is an illegal memory card? I don't have an SD to try and find out?

Never mind folks, I just remember I had an SD in a camera out in the car. The SD works! FYI!
