Hello everybody, thx in advance for any forthcoming answers.

Is there a GPS Palm that can catch links from the internet and import in its current destination place?

Ex: The Skype client catches callto:// links thus allowing web pages to link directly to a skype account. Is there the possibility to add a "GPS link" to a web page so just clicking on it opens my NAV software and sets the destination to the one specified in the link?
Outlook catches mailto: links as well, why NAVs should not ?

Thx again

Possible, yes.
But, which nav software are you talking about?
It's all doable via registry keys (in Windows, don't know about other OS) but it will always have to be installed on the PC (like Skype) so you developing a little thing on your own will not generate much websites that will use it and it will not be of any practical use, it has to come from those that make the nav software and it has to become a standard in the industry to be successful.

You could write to your nav software supplier and suggest it.

Try this! http://www.earthcomber.com/splash/index.html

You can download maps and POI in your palm and it's free!
