My gps feel from the windshield and now if you turn it on, it just comes up with the Magellan splash screen and sits there forever. I know the drive still works, since I reinstalled the maps upgrade and that ran fine.

My guess is that there might be some bad sectors on the drive. I'm in IT so I see this all the time. Anyone ever run any type of diags on the drives inside of these things?

Also, what is the warranty on these. I check their site and I cannot find it.

Any thoughts on this?
