I've searched the forums but have not found an answer to this question:

How do I correlate the Track Point Indexes (from Track Properties) with those in the Vertical Profile?

I'm using Mapsource 6.15.3 (but I've had the same difficulty in all packages since Vertical Profile was introduced).

When I bring up the Vertical Profile, I can easily choose to see Track Points... but I can't find any easy way to determine what track index I have my cross hairs on. It would even be more awesome if I could see the highlighted Track Point on the mapped Track profile.

Am I missing something or are these options just not available?

Thanx,
ksm

BaseCamp does exactly what you want. With the vertical profile displayed, you traverse the prfile and see exactly where youa re on the track, or vice versa.

See my reply to the HCx tracks posting for more info on BaseCamp.
