When I create a route in "mapsource" on my PC I know the points are not waypoints but "via" points. With that in mind.

I am creating marine routes that cover as much as 200 miles. I initially create the route on a very wide scale and then save it. I then zoom in the scale and I want to move the "via points" to a better position that follows channels and buoys. Problem is, I can't figure out how to move the points.
Please help.

Use the pointer tool and single click on the route to change it from magenta to yellow with red arrows. Then single click directly on the point you want to move. The route will be "rubber banded" at that point. Then you can drag it to wherever you want.

How did you ever figure that out, thanks sooo much. The problem I was having was that I was trying to move the start point when it was yellow and it obviously only works for all points but start and finish, is that what you found /

Well, if you do it with the start or end points, it will add a point rather than moving that point, but you can then just go back and delete the original start or end point by right clicking on it.
