I have the same problem. How to use the GPS of Nokia's own? I sent a thread before but didn't get answer. Nokia phone has its own GPS and do I need to buy map for that or just use google map? And Garmin, Tomtom, Navigon which one can run on symbian os? Or anyone introduce another good gps for symbian os?
Thanks!

Hello Boling,

yes you can download the files for Nokia maps in site. But is a trial for 3 months...
I don´t know how much you need to pay after, but I didn´t like the software.

I saw in Twitter about NDrive for phones, but I didn´t find a trial. I want to know about the others and if somebody tried some of this GPS for phones.

Thank you very much for the info and why you didn't likt that. Does this gps have sort of problems?....
About another gps you mentioned, I will try. And thank you again

Google map is free to use but it needs internet connection. On the contrast, Garmin, tomtom and other software cost you money but require no internet connection. It is up to you.

TomTom is the market leader in Europe. They have really great support should you need it.

But if your living in Porto, the city where NDrive is based, and are going to be travelling a lot within Portugal, then NDrive can be a better option. They certainly have a lot of advantages there because Portugal is there home territory. Better maps, routing, many more points of interest with more information, and so on.

Their maps support the rest of Europe as well. Though I noticed no trial version is available on the NDrive website.

http://app.sliderocket.com/app/FullPlayer.aspx?id=CE914306-0111-561C-F47E-99825F803BEC is a great comparison of the different softwares that points out the strengths and weakpoints of each.
