I recieved a Lowrance Hunt C GPS for christmas, and i think it is great, the only problem i have is with the maps, it came with mapcreate 6 and it is ok, but the Topo isnt very detailed and that is what i want the most for hunting anyone no the best topo software compatable with this GPS thanks

For maps that can be uploaded to your Lowrance you're limited to Lowrance maps (this is true for off the shelf mapping for all brands of GPS)

You can use a variety of other software mapping to view maps on your PC (National Geographic for example) but these cannot be uploaded to your GPS. These packages do allow you send/receive other types of data such as waypoints.
