Just got my new Garmin c580 after my Magellan 700 conked out on me after 18 months. Garmin works very well so far, but I need a good way to convert my Outlook contacts into waypoint and download them into the unit. I can't believe Garmin can't help me, but it is true.

Apparently the c580 comes with the 2008 version of the City Navigator, but the DVD is not available and is not going to be available for another 2-3 months. Version 8 cannot be activated anymore by Garmins server! A tech support guy told me to look into a third party software option.

Is there a program that can convert MS Outlook contacts into Garmin waypoints and download them into the c580?

Please help!

ive got the 2008 (non nt) dvd which i cant use for obvious reasons since its an upgrade and garmin doesnt do 2 unit upgrades anymore. they arent shipping the full one yet but they are shipping the upgrade. if you cant get it from them, pm me and i can mail it out to you.
